EGRUiEN was present at Joint IWPLMS and IREC-conferences in Oslo

A delegation from the University of Wrocław and the University of Oslo, comprising Jacek Burski, Helena Seibicke and Ines Wagner, presented the findings of the EGRUiEN research project at the international IREC/IWPLMS conference ‘Confronting Inequality’ in Oslo, organised by Fafo from 16 to 18 September 2026.

In the panel (see programme) chaired by Ingrid Holland ‘C1: Just transition and trade union strategies in the green transition’, our team presented the following papers:
1. ‘Trade unions’ strategies regarding the green transition in mining. The case of the PGE Company in Poland” (Szymon Pilch, Jacek Burski, Adam Mrozowicki, Olga Gitkiewicz)
2. “Navigating the Green Transition: Trade Unions as Agents of Transformation or Delayism?” (Helena Seibicke, Ines Wagner)
